Is Coffee Actually a Bean?
Share

A coffee bean is actually the seed of the coffee cherry, the fruit of the coffee plant. These beans are typically green when harvested and are then processed and roasted to bring out the rich flavors we associate with coffee. Inside each coffee cherry, there are usually two seeds, which are the beans we grind to brew our coffee. The flavor of coffee is influenced by various factors, including the bean's origin, the way it’s processed, and the roasting method, making each cup a unique experience.
